Real Wedding: Noah + Emilia

In early September, we received an inquiry from a bride-to-be named Emilia. From our initial conversation, we could tell what a kind and genuine soul Emilia had and how eager and excited she was to be marrying the love of her life, Noah. She did not have a venue decided upon yet as she had just gotten engaged a few days earlier.....and she wanted to get married 4 weeks later, October 12th, in the middle of peak wedding season in Charleston. We are always up for a challenge and knew with a dream vendor team, we could pull off a ceremony + reception for Emilia & Noah with 90 of their closest friends and family. The couple was heading overseas in early 2020 for mission work and had to be married prior to leaving for their missionary commitment. We met with the couple, talked design and their style, what was important to them on the their wedding day and the planning began. Later that week, we received a call from the bride letting us know not everyone was on board with how quickly this wedding was happening and the planning process was put on hold, three WEEKS before the big day was suppose to happen. With a little luck and a lot of prayer, the young couple was able to get everyone on board and planning resumed with the big day less than two weeks away now. With a location selected (thank goodness for the new venue, Kiawah River) and vendors booked, we dreamed up the most beautiful fall design for the stylish bohemian couple. The following weekend, the sun shined and everything came together beautifully as everyone gathered among the oaks for one of the most sacred and intimate ceremonies we have ever had the pleasure of being a part of. Afterwards, the new bride and groom celebrated with a delicious meal from Cru Catering and danced the night away to Midnight City Band. It was such a special day and we are so appreciative and thankful Emilia + Noah trusted us to execute their wedding in just 4 weeks.
